Too Old For This

I just went to a house warming party organized by my flat seniors. All the tenants were grouped according to their apartment stories. After some introduction, we began to play customized bingo. Everyone was given 3 sheets of paper consisting of 5x5 squares with different categories in each square, e.g, a guy, living in 7th floor, play piano, have not watch Matrix, wearing black shirt, 2nd toe longer than big toe....etc.

We stopped at the 2nd game as that game took too much of our time(I was not really into the game) and proceed on to the dinner. During dinner, we were shown a video of organized events which happened last year. After the dinner, was a band performance with 2 guys and a gal singing Shannon Noll's 'Shine', followed by a dance performance by 5 gals. After that, all of us was told to move all the furniture to the side or the back of the room.

All the tenants was told to form rows according to their stories. The rows were made equalled by substituting tenants from longer 1s. Then, we were told to play another customized game. Each row was given water balloon to pass from the front to back by sequences of 'over the head' and 'between the legs'. The last person of the row would then run to the front with the balloon and start another round till every person in each row was back to their original places. The fastest 1 would win. I moved to the corner of the room to join a small group that was not playing after hearing the instructions.

After that were 4 performances; a guy playing piano and a girl playing violin, followed by a guy playing guitar and then another guy playing piano, and lastly another guy playing guitar. The last guy gave a speech too about being oneself and achieving what one want instead of being what others want one to be and achieve nothing by using the series, Prison Break as an example......

After that speech guy, was a dance teaching session by an auntie. I left the party when everyone was told to stand up and prepare to dance.

Joke Per Post (If I Remember)
Mexican American War

During the Mexican/American war, an intense long standoff occurred along the front. For days and days neither side made any advances. Finally, an American general had a bright idea.
He aimed his rifle to the Mexican trenches and yelled "Hey Juan!"
A soldier jumped up and replied "What?"
The general shot him dead. This continued for three days.
A Mexican general decided that two could play this game and decided to try it out. He called out "Hey John!!"
An American replied "John isn't here......is that you Juan?"
The Mexican general stood up, "Yeah!"...
