New Mobile Phone

I accquired Nokia 7270 limited black edition around a month ago. It was 1 of my 'wanted to post dilemma' thing so now I am posting about it. I had gone through a lot of planning to get this mobile phone. 1st being that I cancelled my phone line for my oversea studies so am I gonna just buy the phone? Get a new line? do a trade-in?

The phone cost S$498 so the 1st option is out of my ability. I can only suspend a phone line after the contract ends. 2nd option will get the phone for $298 but will also cost a lot of $$$ down the road so out of the question either. I wanted to keep my nokia 3100(the 1st phone I bought, sentimental value) so option 3 is out too. With all 3 option out, the back up plan is to look for family members.

I found out that my mum's mobile phone contract is over and she just trade-in for a new sumsung mobile phone. This put her phone line being able to upgrade while she no longer needs any new mobile phone. Then, we went down to TPY, a place with several mobile phone retail shop.

We 'hit the wall' after a few shops since the model came out a few months ago. We finally found 1 shop who had it but it only deals with starhub while my mum's contract is with SingTel. From there on, my sis decided to call SingTel Customer Service to ask if any SingTel shop still have stock. The operator told my sis that only the SingTel shop at Orchard had stock left so it was a trip down to Orchard. That was how I accquired my Nokia 7270. :)
