Liverpool No. 14

Spanish players; the majority of them are really very skillful. I only watch EPL so what I have said is based on the Spanish players in EPL especially Team Liverpool. Liverpool No. 14 is Xabi Alonso from Spain. I think he is extra special as his ball skills are tremendous, especially the way he distributes the ball. People watch EPL will notice he is the 1 that starts most of the attacks. He is also a freekick taker and shoots the ball from long range too. Just look at how he scored the last goal against Luton in the FA Cup. It was from 70 yard.



How many players can say out loud that they can shoot into the goal post from that distance?! How many times we see the keeper coming out for a corner, then the opposition gets hold of the ball and see an open goal post but the player shoots wide? Beckham perhaps can do it too but I think he needs a second to stop the ball before shooting. Alonso shot it while the ball was still rolling. Alonso is slowly becoming my fav player. I think he and Gerard will be Liverpool star players of the decade with them being the central midfield pair.
