The Ever 1st time Walk In Little India

My gf has been working part-time at Little India for quite some time. Throughout her time there, she had only covered the distance from Little India MRT station to her work place. Yesterday, we decided to walk down Little India to Mustafa Centre after her shift ended at 5pm. Her boss told her that the crackers there are very tasty and sell at a cheap price.

We headed down to TekKa Shopping Mall for dinner 1st before beginning our walk. The walk was a pleasant 1 as it was weekday(Never go on weekends!!!) so there were not many Indians. We did stop by a few shops for some window shopping. Not knowing where the exact location of Mustafa Centre, we entered a place which we later found out was Serangoon Plaza.

An interesting incident occurred as we entered Serangoon Plaza, I was stopped by the security guard at the entrance. Then, he asked for the plastic bag that I was carrying and I complied(soldier reaction...). Instead of checking what was inside, he tied the top of my plastic bag with a cable tie and returned it to me!

Both my gf and I was shocked at this, a cable tie on our plastic bag...quite funny after it was digested. Later on, we found out that the cable tie thingy was actually a trend in Little India. The stuffs you bought will be 'cable tie' too and Mustafa Centre(found it later) has several 'personal belonging holder stations' like those in hotel and casino! It is really classy, there is more, motion detection tap water is quite common nowadays but not motion detection flush! The common flush are those with IR sensors and timers but those in Mustafa Centre need to place the hand near the motion detector, like the tap water. This trip really opened my eyes......

NOTE: I added moon phase info at the bottom of the side column. Good to know when the day is full moon.

Joke Per Post (If I Remember)
Mexican American War

During the Mexican/American war, an intense long standoff occurred along the front. For days and days neither side made any advances. Finally, an American general had a bright idea.
He aimed his rifle to the Mexican trenches and yelled "Hey Juan!"
A soldier jumped up and replied "What?"
The general shot him dead. This continued for three days.
A Mexican general decided that two could play this game and decided to try it out. He called out "Hey John!!"
An American replied "John isn't here......is that you Juan?"
The Mexican general stood up, "Yeah!"...
