Something to Tell

Bought a heater today. The main purpose is to keep myself away from my bed and my blanket in the morning because it is so COLD in the morning! I will always go back to bed, cover myself with the blanket and fall asleep again if there is no morning class. I bought the heater for $17, a small 1, has 2 settings for the heater, can be use as normal fan too. The heat will be generated once u switch it on! I originally thought it would have to wait for a few minutes. Very powerful and there is also overheat safety cutoff protection for those who want to use it overnight.

There was a fire drill a few days ago. All tenants are supposed to leave the room and gathered at an open field beside the building. We were given 1 day notice about it. I, of course never follow, I rather stay and do other useful stuff than waste time on that so I switch off all the light except for my room's and wait quietly. There was someone knocking at the door not long after the siren. I continue to ignore, He give up after about 3-4 tries in about 5 mins. All this time I was thinking why do they need a fire drill? Winter is coming! Maybe there was cases of some idiots who try to save money and start a fire to fight off the coldness.

My light bulb fused earlier, now I'm typing this with the only light from my table lamp. Followed my roommate to the reception to ask for maintenance but the maintenance guy on leave, will come tomorrow morning and I had to pay $5 1st. Then I found out the cost of a light bulb is around $2. How much do they charge for service! I should have DIY myself.

Joke Per Post (If I Remember)
Mexican American War

During the Mexican/American war, an intense long standoff occurred along the front. For days and days neither side made any advances. Finally, an American general had a bright idea.
He aimed his rifle to the Mexican trenches and yelled "Hey Juan!"
A soldier jumped up and replied "What?"
The general shot him dead. This continued for three days.
A Mexican general decided that two could play this game and decided to try it out. He called out "Hey John!!"
An American replied "John isn't here......is that you Juan?"
The Mexican general stood up, "Yeah!"...
